Election for President and Board Members of ICOFOM
Once again we find ourselves preparing the next election for President and Board Members of ICOFOM. This election will be held on November 12, 2010 during the evening, in accordance with the announced programme of activities for the 33rd ICOFOM Annual Symposium, to be held in Shanghai, China, during the ICOM General Conference. This call for candidates encourages our members from all over the world to propose one or more names from the ICOFOM official list of members and/or to put forward their own candidacy; it also offers our young members new possibilities for their professional development, as well as a geographic global representation to members proceeding from different countries.

All the communications related to nominations should be sent to Tereza Scheiner, President of the Election Committee, with copy (c/c) to Maria Carmen Maza and André Desvallées, as stated above.
The Election Committee will be in charge of collecting and evaluating the nominations received within the set deadline, August 8, 2010. After verifying their whole data, an official ballot, including the names of eligible and re-eligible members in alphabetical order, will be posted on the Web (www.icofom.com.ar) and also sent by mail to all the ICOFOM members.
